Within the business R+D+i plan of the Instituto Valenciano de la Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) for the financial year 2022 through the INNOVA - ProC programme. The company BAVIERA STEAM SYSTEMS has participated in the project ‘DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW PROCESS OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN THE WELDING AND ASSEMBLY AREA’ with file number: IMINOB/2022/9 by means of which the following results and objectives have been achieved:

The objective of the project has been the Design and Development of a new LEAN management model process focused on the continuous improvement of the operational results in the pilot area of welding and assembly. Seeking to influence the sustainability of the improvements to be achieved. As a result of the design and development of this new work methodology, the following has been achieved:

• Increase and ensure the involvement of workers in the improvement process.
• Create an agile and simple data collection system thanks to scorecards with indicators and objectives.
• Create a structured and standardised communication model, ensuring everyone's participation.
• Inculcate habits of focusing on objectives, efficient meetings, follow-up of actions, etc.
• Reinforce the process of lessons learned and project closure.
• Increase and improve the productivity of the direct workforce.

The project has been funded by the Instituto Valenciano de la Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) and co-financed by the European Union through the FEDER Operational Programme of the Valencian Community 2021-2027.
