The Single Face Moisture Applicator (AH) applies low-pressure saturated steam to the Single Face at the bridge area, before reaching the triple preheater. Its main application is to correct the tendency of warping during production of double-faced corrugated cardboard with heavy qualities. The moisture application is achieved through the use of properly reduced low-pressure saturated steam from the general humidification steam line, with vaporization occurring close to the condensation point. The equipment is composed of two parallel square tubes, with the first tube continuously heated with steam and the second tube equipped with calibrated gauges for proper humidification. The second tube is subdivided into four zones, with humidification control through proportional valves and PLC management. The equipment includes a stainless steel tray to collect any condensation drips.
